- Create a new folder and save one or more dashboards in it
- For each chart/table in the dashboard(s) set Dynamic period to All (Inherit setting from folder). If you don't do this, the time period of the folder will be overruled.
-
Right-click on the folder for which you want to specify a time period and select Edit filter. The following dialog window will now appear:
- Define your time period and click Finish.
- To see the effect of the new time setting, open a dashboard from the folder or reload it if it is already open
Dynamic period:
This option allows you to set a time period which changes according to the current date. For example, if you select Last month, the chart or table will automatically show data for the last month when you reload your dashboard or deliver it by email. You should choose this option if you want to deliver reports automatically every day, week or month.
Only start date:
This option allows you to set an open-ended time period with a fixed start date. This is practical if you launch a new campaign or some new content on a specific date, and you want to monitor the development from that time onwards.
Start and end dates:
If this option is used, the data of the chart or the table will not change.
